In multi-story buildings, slabs make up 75% of the buildings weight. But not only that, the choice of slab has a huge influence on the utilization of space, the greenhouse gas emissions, the general appearance, the ability to install building systems and last but not least the cost. Thus, choosing the right slab type and optimizing it goes a long way.

This website helps the designer with this choice by providing profound data about 13 different slab systems and data analysis tools for the Python programming language to compare the slabs in an intuitive way.

The analysis tools provide the possibility to filter out the best choice of the slab system and to compare different floor systems using various plots and tables. The slabs analyzer and the building analyzer can be used for this.
